From the moment you reach out to the day you’re holding your photos in your hands, my goal is simple: for you to feel taken care of, present, and fully in it. No stress, no awkward posing, just real moments, beautifully captured.
After photographing 500+ weddings across the country, plus hundreds of senior and family sessions, I bring a calm, experienced presence so you can soak in every second, knowing nothing important is being missed. The big moments, the in-between ones, and everything you didn’t even realize you’d want to remember.
This isn’t just about photos, it’s about preserving a season of your life you’ll never get back, in a way that still feels just as real years from now.
My path to photography didn’t start with some big childhood dream, it started with a little film camera, Costco prints, and a scrapbooking class when I was 13. I fell in love with capturing moments and holding onto them.
I photographed my first wedding on film in 2003, and not long after, took the leap to pursue photography full-time, earning my degree in fine art photography. In 2008, Mollie Jane Photography was born, and after 500+ weddings across the country, from Washington State to Washington DC, California to Florida and a whole bunch of places in between (Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota...whoosh). I’m still just as drawn to the real, in-between moments as I was back then.
I'm a wife to my Carlos, and a mom to 2 teenagers and an (almost) pre-teen (Leo, Bella, and Andre). And a dog-mom to a Shih Tzu named Goldie. We are living our Florida dream in St. Augustine!

I lived in Southern California during the pandemic. For a long time weddings were cancelled or postponed. To photograph families, I stood in front yards and sidewalks with my zoom lenses on doing, what we called, "Front Porch Sessions".
I vividly remember the first wedding after lockdowns and restrictions were temporarily eased, I was waiting for the grand entrance and the music started. Friends, I started to cry. I love weddings so much and I missed them with all of my heart.
I remember the first family and senior that I didn't have to "social distance" from. I just wanted to hug them all!!!
That was a HARD season, but never again, for a second, do I take that I get to do this, as a full -time job, for granted. It is such a blessing. I put every part of my heart into your wedding (and portrait sessions), before, during and after. It is a privilege to be the one to be with you on your special day and capturing this fleeting time in your life.
I want you to, not only, love your images, but feel all of those feelings every time you look at them. All of my 20 years as a photographer, I wrap up in an experience.
